13/03: Release the Fire Within!

Praise the Lord! Happy New Year! Yes, I know it’s been over a month since the new year began, but this is my first Pastor’s note for the website! I hope to have a fresh note for you all at least twice a month. In any case how I thank God for you the reader!
Here at IDF-Columbus we are following the theme “Release the Fire Within!” All too often we go to conferences and seminars and we get fired about it and get back home and do nothing about it! But I am determined and asking the LORD to cause me to put into action what I have gained from the conference or seminar or teachings! The Lord has been and still is so good to IDFC! Throughout the years of our existence HE has blessed us with great teachings preparing and positioning us for GREATER! We have had teachings on “Kingdom Principles” by Myles Munroe, “The Law of Confession” by Dr. Bill Winston, “Prayer” by Pastor Kenneth Hagin, and “The Blessed Life” by Pastor Robert Morris to name a few all under the direction of the Holy Spirit! This month we started Bible Study on the Book of Acts. This is truly a book in which we will see the Apostles “releasing the fire within” them as they set out on an amazing journey of setting the world on fire for the LORD!
I’m challenging the IDFC church family to release that which the LORD has poured into them. As with the Apostles and those who followed and believed in Jesus, we too will see souls saved, miracles take place, prayers answered, and see the awesomeness of God shown throughout the land. It’s all about the KINGDOM OF GOD!
Our war cry for IDFC: I AM KINGDOM MINDED TO BE A KINGDOM BUILDER IN POSITION AS A KINGDOM DISTRIBUTOR WHILE ON MY KINGDOM ASSIGNMENT The Spirit of the LORD is leading us to truly step out in faith and know that as we go, WE ARE ON ASSIGNMENT! Join with us and release the fire within you! Let the LORD use you in every way! Remember what Jesus said in John 14;12-14: 12 "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. 13 And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If you ask anything in My name, I will do it. John 14:12-14 (NKJV)
This is the Word of God for the people of God to go forth and do the greater – RELEASE THE FIRE WITHIN!!
