Romans 12:2 Easy-to-Read Version (ERV)
2 Don’t change yourselves to be like the people of this world, but let God change you inside with a new way of thinking. Then you will be able to understand and accept what God wants for you. You will be able to know what is good and pleasing to him and what is perfect.

Today I praise my Father because He showed me, “ME” in the bible again. I found myself as the children of Israel – “still needing to get Egypt out of them” on this week.

I was communicating with a Sister after church on Wednesday night and someone shared that once a teen on post takes the CPR classes they can charge upward of $12 to $13.00, to baby sit. Well, that was ridicules to me and I started complaining. My argument:
• That is too much money they are just teens.
• When you finish paying them you don’t have money to leave the house.
• There are adults who don’t get paid $12.00 an hour.
And I went on and on for a while. Sis. was nice and said, “we paid whatever the going rate was when my kids where young. A couple do need to get out and enjoy themselves.”

Later that night God spoke a few words to me. “Still trying to get Egypt out of you.” WOW!! I knew exactly what He meant.

I was brought up in the projects. I have 5 sisters over me so I never had a lot of new clothes. And I’ve been known to say, “the clearance rack is my place to shop.” My Father in Heaven got on me before, that I am His beloved daughter, seated in heavenly places. That I’ve been adopted into His royal family, and what I need is in heavens realm. That I am a Kings daughter, and stop acting like a project child. For when we came out He gave us everything we need. As when the Israelites came out of Egypt they received everything they needed: money, clothes, jewels, food and livestock.

So Daughters and Sons of the Most High, lets elevate our minds and speak what our Father speaks.

Now I am in my 30’s in God, I pray it don’t take me 40 years to get my mind out of Egypt. Pray my strength in the Lord.
