Evangelist Perkins grew up in a home where going to church, Sunday School, and Bible study was not an option it was mandatory. She served faithfully in the youth choir, and as years went on. The plans she had for her life wasn’t the plans God had for her life. Evangelist Perkins Journey began as she met her wonderful husband of 27 years Michael Perkins. Together they have three beautiful daughters Tyesha, Jessica, Sha Monica, and one apple of their eyes granddaughter Jada.
Evangelist Perkins traveled with her husband for 21 years with the US Army. After returning to the United States from Germany, their new assignment was at a place called Aberdeen Proving Grounds Army Base in Aberdeen Maryland. This was a place where she would begin her molding process to the ministry she was being called to. She joined the post chapel Gospel Service in 2000 under the leadership of Chaplain Robinson. She served as a Youth Director, Intercessor prayer warrior, song on the Praise & Worship Team, and the adult choir. In 2004 the family relocated to Ft. Benning Army Base in Columbus, GA.

She served on several ministries, sang in the Adult Choir, Leader over Teens Praise Dance Ministry, Bible Study Teacher, and Sunday School Teacher. In 2006, she accepted her call to preach the word of God, but she didn’t move quickly to the Preaching Ministry. In 2008 a supernatural shift of the Holy Spirit took place, and with that being said a new location was being birthed out. The Perkins family relocated to Interdenomination Of Faith Church Of The Living God, under the leadership of Don E & Annell B German. Evangelist Perkins was part of the Core Group to help build the Ministry.
